MEET JOANIE

As a mom, former professional dancer and pillar in the pre & postnatal community in NYC, Joanie Johnson brings you a wealth of knowledge and experience. She has honed her coaching skills over the past 20 yrs of teaching dance, movement and fitness. In that time she built a successful pregnancy & postnatal fitness studio, Fit Pregnancy Club, in NYC, been featured in numerous publications and platforms such as Forbes, Fast Company, Women's Health, The Bump, Parents, and Expectful and influenced over 4000 birthing and parenting bodies. She is a Certified Personal Trainer, Holistic Health Coach, Franklin Method® Pelvic Floor Fascia Trainer, Pre and Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist, Diastasis and Core Consultant and Fit For Birth® Pregnancy Safe Coach. She also serves as a Head Coach for Fit For Birth®, supporting and educating other industry trainers. She is passionate and determined to drive the fitness industry towards establishing safe, smart and research forward standards when it comes to training preconception through postpartum bodies.
